Jodie Baxendale, a nationally and widely published photographer, is based in the Black Hills of western South Dakota. Her inspiration comes from the love & grace of Jesus Christ, and an upbringing with deep family roots in Wyoming. Drawing from her background, vintage and timeless concepts are revealed throughout her unique style. Her natural eye and artistic approach quickly grabbed the attention of many fans from all around the world. Notably credited for a versatile portfolio of beautiful professional work that includes Premier Portraiture, Western Fine Art, Rodeo Action, and Rustic Fine Art.
Jodie began creative shooting a wide mix of genres in 2005. Self-taught, she honed her skills and curated her own creative photography expertise. In 2010, “JodieB Photography by Jodie Baxendale” studio services was officially established. She has served the Midwest region and beyond with her artistic captures and hosting of various photography workshops. With a fervent love of art, history, portraiture, education, and western lifestyle, Jodie creatively captures traditional, emotional and everlasting images to be treasured for generations.
It is her nature to comfort, nurture, and educate. From her 25 years of being a nurse, Jodie is able to easily connect with people. Her photography is rooted in what she calls "The JodieB Experience", which entails an intentional connection with each subject, an appreciation of their journey, and encouragement of individual authenticity. Jodie values each client and hopes they will walk away with an image that reflects joy in who they are and speaks to their legacy for years to come.

Jodie has had her work commissioned for 5 large 24x36 prints matted/framed for the Governor of Wyoming and four other elected offices at the Wyoming State Capital Building in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Dozens of 20x30 gallery canvas wrapped JodieB images filled the first floor of the Cody, Wyoming Courthouse from 2012-2014; and several JodieB images in 20x30 gallery wraps placed on loan at the Cody, Wyoming Senior Center. A variety of JodieB images of plains Buffalo for a traveling museum presentation display at the Center of the Nation Museum in Belle Fourche, SD 12/15-02/16.
