Perched on a steep hillside, with my heels dug into the soil and my toes pressed against a deep rooted sage brush, the rain began to drop sporadically. I sat and waited for this majestic herd of Montana Horses, hoping the sun would peek out before they all came down. They pushed over the rim and dropped into the canyon trail passing a lone dead pine . The dust started to rise and the setting sun cast long dramatic shadows accentuating this already amazing view!
